All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, with the consent of the owners, lessees, and mortgagees of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Pohangina County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the lands in Pohangina and Oroua Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto.

Land set apart for State Forest Purposes in the Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the forest land described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State forest within the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 249 acres and 8 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 43 and 44, Block II, Lyndon Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-west corner of Section No. 43, thence bounded towards the north by part of the Hanmer Plains Reserve, towards the east by part of Run No. 17, towards the south-west by a road along the north bank of the Percival River, and towards the west by a road to the point of commencement; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 48173/249, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Change of Name of Locality, “Western Spit” to “Westshore.”

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS a petition has been presented by settlers in the locality known as “Western Spit,” in the County of Hawke's Bay, praying that the name of such locality be changed to “Westshore”: And whereas the Council of the County of Hawke's Bay has, by resolution adopted at an ordinary meeting thereof, consented to the name of “Westshore” being substituted for the existing name of “Western Spit”:
