northern side of Elliot Road from Cutfield Road to the western boundary of Section 20, Fitzroy (known as Dartmoor), and to expend the balance, if any, of such loan in continuing the same work along the Elliot Road frontage to Soleville, the result was as follows: For the proposal, 33 votes; against the proposal, 33 votes: total, 66 votes.

The number of votes cast for the proposal not being in excess of three-fifths of the total recorded, the proposal is hereby declared lost.
