(a.) Bookmakers, unless they shall be duly licensed by
the said club under and in pursuance of the pro-
visions of section 35 of the said Act.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any
club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Com-
monwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated
to the Canterbury Jockey Club.
(c.) Common prostitutes and persons who habitually
consort with thieves or persons who have no lawful
visible means of support.
The foregoing regulations of the Ashburton County Racing
Club are hereby approved, this 9th day of May, 1908.

NORTH OTAGO JOCKEY CLUB REGULATIONS.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf
contained in section 34 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act
Amendment Act, 1907, and with the approval of the Go-
vernor, the North Otago Jockey Club, a racing club within
the meaning of the said Act, doth hereby make the following
regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part
of the Oamaru Racecourse Reserve, situate on the Main
North Road, Oamaru District, set apart for racing purposes,
and known as the Oamaru Racecourse, while the said race-
course is used or occupied by the said club for race meet-
ings:—
- In these regulations the words “bookmaker” “racing
club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed
to those terms by section 2 of the said Act. - The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded
from the Oamaru Racecourse while the same is used or occu-
pied by the said club for a race meeting, namely:—
(a.) Bookmakers, unless they shall be duly licensed by
the said club under and in pursuance of the pro-
visions of section 35 of the said Act.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any
racing club in the Dominion of New Zealand
governed by the Racing Conference of New Zea-
land, or inflicted by any recognised racing club in
any country other than New Zealand.
(c.) Common prostitutes and persons who habitually
consort with thieves or persons who have no lawful
visible means of support.
The foregoing regulations of the North Otago Jockey Club
are hereby approved, this 9th day of May, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of
“The Companies Act, 1903,” that a General Meeting
of the above-named company will be held at the offices of
the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company (Limited), 139 Here-
ford Street, Christchurch, on Saturday, the 13th day of
June, 1908, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose
of having an account laid before the company showing the
manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and
the property disposed of, and of hearing any explanation
that may be given by the Liquidator, and for the purpose of
passing an extraordinary resolution disposing of the books, ac-
counts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator.
