consist of 128 chains of boundary-fencing at 6s. per chain
and 384 chains of subdivisional fencing at 5s. per chain.
Run 465, Lake County, is situated near the head of the
Matukituki River, about twenty-five miles from Pembroke.
The improvements, which are valued at £17 10s., consist of
house, small hut, stable, stockyards, 30 chains of fencing,
and grass paddock.
Runs 95A and 99A (grouped), Vincent County, are situated
about three miles north of the head of Lake Hawea, and ex-
tend along the Hunter River for a distance of upwards of
twenty miles. The flats along the river are fairly well
grassed. On the higher altitudes the country is inferior and
rough, covered with scrub and patches of bush. Altitude,
from 1,300 ft. to 8,000 ft.
Valuations for improvements must be paid to the Receiver
of Land Revenue, Dunedin, before the licensees will be let
into possession.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of “The Land Act,
1892,” and “The New Zealand State Forests Act,
1885,” and amendments and regulations thereunder, that
written tenders will be received at this office from the pro-
prietors of existing sawmills, and logging contractors, up
till 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, the 4th day of March,
1908, for the purchase of the kauri and other milling-
timbers standing on the undermentioned lots.

HOKIANGA COUNTY.
