with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

RANGITAIKI DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a poll held on the 15th day
of January, 1908, upon a proposal to raise a loan of £5,125
over a special district made under section 3, (3), “The
Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for diverting the Rangitaiki
River from Warbrick’s Bend to the sea, the result was as
follows: For the proposal, 31 votes; against the proposal,
13 votes: total, 44 votes.
The number of votes cast for the proposal being in excess
of three-fifths of the total recorded, the proposal is hereby
declared carried.

STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL.
In the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,”
and of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and the Acts
amending the same respectively.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 13th day of March, 1908, a
proposal was submitted by the Stratford Borough Council to
the ratepayers of the Borough of Stratford for raising a
special loan of £5,000 for the purpose of constructing and
completing waterworks for the aforesaid borough, and that
the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the
proposal was as follows: For, 78; against, 40.
And I declare the said proposal to be carried.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing
that the person whose name and address are shown in
the Schedule hereunder is engaged in advertising the
treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, it is hereby
ordered, under section 9 of “The Post Office Act Amend-
ment Act, 1906,” that no money-order in favour of the
said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet ad-
dressed to the said person (either by his own or any
fictitious or assumed name), or to such address without a
name, shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by
the Post Office of New Zealand.
