NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the shareholders of W. T. DAVIES
(LIMITED), held at the registered office of the company, in
Wakefield Street, in the City of Auckland, on the 19th day
of February, 1908, the following extraordinary resolutions
were passed:—

That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this
meeting that the company, by reason of its liabilities, cannot
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and accordingly that the company be wound up
voluntarily. -
That Messrs. W. T. DAVIES and JOHN STEVENSON,
F.N.Z.A.A., be appointed Liquidators.

REGULATIONS OF THE WAIRARAPA RACING
CLUB (REGISTERED)
Under Section 34 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act Amendment Act, 1907, controlling the Admission of Persons to
the Wairarapa Racecourse, at Tauherenikau.
NO. 1. No person who has been guilty of any malpractice
or dishonourable conduct in connection with racing or
betting, or has been warned off any racecourse by any racing
club in accordance with the rules of racing, and no person
who is at the time a defaulter or is on the Official List of
Defaulters published by any racing association or recognised
jockey or racing club in New Zealand or elsewhere, and no
bookmaker unless licensed by the club under the provisions
of the Gaming and Lotteries Act Amendment Act, 1907, shall
be admitted or suffered to remain on the racecourse on any
day on which a race meeting shall be held ; and if any such
person shall be found on the racecourse he may be ordered to
leave, and if he refuses or fails so to do, then immediately on
such refusal or failure to leave he may be ejected from the
course and prosecuted for his breach of this regulation.
No. 2. No such person as in the last preceding regulation
is mentioned shall obtain the right to come and go upon the
racecourse or to remain thereon by reason of his being a
member of any racing or jockey club, or of his having paid
any fee or obtained any ticket of admission, and his ejection
from the course shall give him no right to a return of his fee
or ticket.
No. 3. Every person shall, before entering upon the race-
course upon any day on which a race meeting is being held
or is to be held, provide himself with a ticket of admission,
which ticket he shall, if and when required, produce and sur-
render to any steward, secretary, gatekeeper, or other person
appointed by the club. Admission to the racecourse shall be
only by gates fixed by the club at which gatekeepers appointed
by the club are stationed ; and if any person enter the race-
course by any other way or means he shall be liable to be
expelled from the racecourse.
No. 4. Every person who commits a breach of any of the
foregoing regulations may be removed from the racecourse by
any constable, or by any member, officer, agent, or servant of
the club, and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £20.
TABLE OF FEES.
The following fees and charges shall be paid by all persons
seeking admission to the said racecourse or any stand erected
thereon, and for admission of horses and vehicles to the race-
course, and for the use of training-tracks, or for the occupa-
tion of the racecourse, or any part thereof, for the erection
of booths or stalls for sale of refreshments, merchandise,
goods, or other rights or privileges, as the case may be, whilst
any race meeting is being held:—
For admission to the said racecourse outside the stand s. d.
enclosures, in respect of each person .. .. 2 0
For each horse and vehicle admitted to the course .. Free.
For admission to the grandstand enclosure, in respect
of each person—
Male person .. .. .. .. 7 6
Ladies .. .. .. .. 2 6
For admission to the second-stand enclosure, and in
respect of each person .. .. .. .. Free.
For the right of erecting or using any booth, tent, stand,
or enclosure, or the right of selling racing-cards, or
carrying on any games, or selling goods, wares, or
merchandise, on any part or parts of the racecourse,
such sum or sums of money as may be determined,
whether at public auction, or by tender, or private
contract.
The foregoing regulations and table of fees were passed at
a duly convened meeting, held at Featherston, on 4th December, 1907, and will come into force on 1st January, 1908.
The common seal of the Wairarapa Racing Club was here-
unto affixed, this 4th day of December, 1907, in the presence
