Removal of Order forbidding Postal Correspondence for Dr. Kempster.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the person whose name and late addresses are shown hereunder is no longer engaged in advertising the treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, hereby rescinds the order made under section 9 of “The Post Office Act Amendment Act, 1906,” on the 12th day of July, 1907, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 18th day of July, 1907, forbidding that any postal packet addressed to such person shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand, and orders that such postal packets addressed to such person at his present address shall be registered, forwarded, and delivered in the usual course.

Special Order made by the Council of the Borough of Hamilton.

THE following special order, made by the Hamilton Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £2,500, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for completion of Hamilton drainage by the construction of the works mentioned in the Schedule hereto, the said Hamilton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5/2d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Hamilton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

SCHEDULE.

900 ft. 12 in. sewer through Sections 274/5 and 285, Hamilton West.
1,000 ft. 9 in. sewer through Sections 269, 288, and 298, Milton Street.
150 ft. 6 in. sewer through Section 275 to Anglesea Street.
350 ft. 6 in. sewer, Clarence Street.
250 ft. 6 in. sewer, Milton Street.
750 ft. 6 in. sewer, Collingwood Street.

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the special order made by the Hamilton Borough Council at a special meeting held on Friday, the 24th day of January, 1908, and duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on Tuesday, the 25th day of February, 1908.

STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorised to be raised by the Stratford County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for bridging the Awahou Stream on the Mangare Road, and forming and metalling with burnt papa the Mangare Road from the Ohura Road westward as far as the money will permit, the said Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 9½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangare Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 167, 169, northern half of Section 5, and western half of Section 7, Block I, Mahoe Survey District; Sections 171, 173, and 175 of Block IV, Ngatimaru Survey District; Sections 8, 174, and 176 of Block XVI, Upper Waitara Survey District; and Sections 49, 51, 168, 170, and 172 of Block XIII, Poutatu Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off; the rate of interest to be 4½ per cent. per annum.

The resolution instituting the above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Stratford County Council held on the 15th day of January, 1908, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 19th day of February, 1908.

BOROUGH OF CROMWELL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Cromwell hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Cromwell, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of the water-race of the Cromwell District Hospital Contributors, and the bringing-in of the same to supply the Borough of Cromwell with an extra supply of water, the said Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Cromwell hereby makes and levies a special rate of 9d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Cromwell, comprising all the lands within the Borough of Cromwell; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st
