Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section No. 29, Block IV, Glenkenich Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 400·6 links; towards the east by part of Section No. 11 of said block, 760·5 links; towards the south by part of Section No. 30 of said block, 400 links; and towards the west by part of Section No. 36 of said block and district, 738·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42392/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public cemetery.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Land temporarily reserved in the Otago Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being a closed road situated in Block VI, Glenomaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 31, Block VI aforesaid; towards the south-east by road reserve along the bank of the Owake River; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 58, 55, and 54, Block VI aforesaid; and towards the north-west by the said road reserve along the bank of the Owake River: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 21313/39, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. For public recreation.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Trustees for the Omahu Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby ap-

point the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 8 of Block IV, Waihou Survey District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 233 and 1202 links; towards the south by Section No. 4 of Block IV, Waihou Survey District, 1756 links; towards the west by the Wharepoha-Omahu Block, 679 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1659 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 44632/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. |

Trustees for the Allanton Public Cemetery appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north-west by part of Crown lands, 535 links; towards the north-east by Block XXIII and the abutment of Snowden Street, aforesaid town, 1200 links; towards the south-east by part of Block XIII, aforesaid town, 414·5 links; and towards the south-west by part of River Section 22, East Taieri District, 1208 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 50431, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. |
