SCHEDULE.
WHANGARIPO DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres, more or less, being Section No. 10A of the Parish of Pakiri, and situated in Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Pakiri Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road 100 links wide, 500 links; towards the east by Section No. 10 of the Parish of Pakiri, 2119 links; towards the south by a right-of-way 50 links wide, 960 links; and towards the west generally by a stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57376/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifth day of February, 1908.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” and the amendments thereof (including “The Domain Boards Act, 1904”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the thirteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, delegating powers to the Grey Town Domain Board, and doth hereby appoint

THE TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Allanton Domain Board, having, subject to the said Acts, control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land is a public domain, and shall be called the Allanton Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at half past twelve o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Taieri County Council Offices, Mosgiel, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

ALLANTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres and 33 perches, more or less, being Block XIII, Town of Allanton. Bounded towards the north-west by Blocks XXII and XXIII, aforesaid town, 554·5 links; towards the north-east by Stack Street, 1313 links; towards the south-east by Peel Street, 586 links; and towards the south-west by part of River Section 22, East Taieri District, 1729 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 50431, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Terms and Conditions of Lease of Village-homestead Allotments in Rimu Gully Village Settlement, Marlborough Land District.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifth day of February, 1908.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the one-hundred-and-sixty-ninth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon which the lands in any village settlement shall be disposed of, subject as in the said section is provided: And whereas by a Proclamation made under the said Act on the nineteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto have been set apart under the said Act and declared open for lease as a village settlement, and it is expedient to fix the terms and conditions upon which the said lands shall be disposed of:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby fix the terms and conditions on which the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto shall be disposed of by way of renewable lease, and which said terms and conditions are set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.

The above sections are situated near the junction of the Rai, Ronga, and Opouri Valleys, and are distant about twenty-three miles from Havelock—about twenty miles by good metalled road, and three miles unformed road. The Nelson–Blenheim mail-coach passes on the opposite side of the Rai River daily. Fairly good soil; mixed flat and hill country, originally under bush; milling-timber has been cut out and removed. Much of the land is laid down in grass.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

  1. THE lands enumerated above are first-class lands, and are village-homestead allotments open for selection on renewable lease under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892” (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and its amendments.

  2. The day on which the said lands shall be open for selection shall be Wednesday, the 8th day of April, 1908.

  3. The rentals stated above shall be the prices at which the lands shall be open for selection.

  4. Applications for leases shall be made in manner as provided in Part I of the said Act; and all such applications shall be made to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Blenheim; and leases will be issued in accordance with the provisions of Part I aforesaid.
