Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorised by “The Railways Authorisation Act, 1904”: And whereas the said railway has been partly constructed, and it has been determined to construct and maintain a further portion of the same:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the said further portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Commencing at a point in Waihuka Block, Block II, Waikohu Survey District, distant about 4180 links due south of Trig. Station R, the said point being marked 26 miles, which point is also the termination of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 24th day of August, 1906, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75, of the 30th day of August, 1906; proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction for a distance of about six miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., Waihuka Block, Waikohu Station or Run, and Waihuka Block, Block II, Waikohu Survey District; Section No. 77 Waihuka Block, Hihiroroa Block A, and Run 47, Block I, Waikohu Survey District, Run 47; Sections Nos. 2 and 1, Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District—and terminating at a point in said Section No. 1, Ngatapa Survey District, marked 32 miles: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Hawke’s Bay Land District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 23271, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, with the consents of the owners of the lands hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Hobson County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the lands in Maungaru Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a road in Block X, Mount Robinson Survey District:
And whereas the Horowhenua County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road.
