Notice of Request to amend Specification.

A REQUEST for leave to amend the specification and drawings relating to the undermentioned application for Letters Patent has been received, and is open to public inspection at this office. Any person may at any time from one month from the date of this Gazette give me notice in writing of opposition to the amendment. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.
No. 23556.—Louis Alfred Hume Longuet, of Epsom, near the City of Auckland and Dominion of New Zealand, Produce Broker. An improved trousers-stretcher. (Advertised in Supplement to New Zealand Gazette, No. 98, of 14th November, 1907.)
The nature of the proposed amendment is as follows :—
To insert in the application, authorisation, and specification, after the name, address, and occupation of the aforementioned Louis Alfred Hume Longuet, the name, address, and occupation of “John Henry Hopkins, of Auckland aforesaid, Produce Broker.”
The applicants state :—
“The reason for amendment is so as to include the name of John Henry Hopkins in the Letters Patent to be granted, as the said John Henry Hopkins has an interest in the Letters Patent, and is in partnership with the said Louis Alfred Hume Longuet. At the time of application Mr. Hopkins’s name was overlooked.”
