Register Office at Auckland, prior to the 12th day of December, 1905, or on a site owned at the date of these by-laws by a person not owning any adjoining land, or to prevent the erection of a shop with dwelling-rooms attached upon any site having frontage to the Panmure Road and situated within the Ellerslie Subdivision: Provided that in the erection of such shop and dwelling-rooms provision shall be made for the disposal of sewage and offensive matter from such shop and dwelling-rooms thereto attached in accordance with any general conditions for such disposal which may be made by the Board in respect of the special area or such portion thereof in which such shop is intended to be erected, as the case may be.
Passed by the Road Board of the said Mount Wellington Road District by special order on the 1st day of November, 1907, and confirmed at a special meeting of the Board on the 9th day of December, 1907.
The common seal of the said body corporate was hereto affixed by special order.

THE following special order, made by the Parihaka Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and its amendments, the Corporation of the inhabitants of the Parihaka Road District, by its Board, the Parihaka Road Board, hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of forming and metalling a portion of the Ihai'a Road opposite the Crown Dairy Company’s property, being Sections 35 and 36, Block IX, Opunake Survey District, the said Parihaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound sterling per annum for a period of two years upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Ihai'a Special-rating District, comprising Sections 35 and 36, Block IX; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, and 52, Block X; part of Subsections 30. 8, and 9, Subsections 12 and 13, and Sections 1 and 2, Block VII; Subsections 27 and 29, and Sections 16 and 19, Block VIII; part of Subsections 32, 34, and 36, and Section 1, and Section 2, Block IV—all in the Opunake Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate for the period of two years, and shall be payable on the 14th day of January, 1908, and the 14th day of January, 1909, to the Board’s rate-collector, at the office of the Board, Rahotu.

MASTERTON COUNTY.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,400, authorised to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling on the Wangaehu Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅛d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Wangaehu Road Metalling Loan Special-rating District, comprising Sections 52, 50, 51, 53, Block VI; Sections 113, 114, 210, Block VII; Sections 21, 20, 122, 124, 126, 128, 3, 4, 1, 2, 17, Block X; Sections 119, 120, 121, 123, 125, 127, 129, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Block XI; Sections 55, 56, 57, part Okurupete B No. 4, Block XIV; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Lot 4, Te Autohirangi, part Okurupete B No. 4, and part Kai-o-te-Atua (180 acres), Block XV—all in the Kopuaranga Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed at a special meeting of the Council, this 12th day of November, 1907. Confirmed this 10th day of December, 1907.

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order made on the 28th day of August, 1907; confirmed on the 2nd day of October, 1907.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waiapu County Council do hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Waiapu County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for constructing portions of the Tuakau, the Whakauranga–Whakaumu, and the Whakauranga–Pirauau Roads, the said Waiapu County Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 6d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Tuakau Loan District, comprising the lands defined in the Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 5 per cent.
