SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by estimation 243 acres, situated in Block XIX, Jacob's River Hundred. Commencing at the north-western corner of Section No. 1, Block XIX aforesaid; bounded on the east and north by the western and southern boundaries of that section and the southern boundary of Section No. 30, Block V, said survey district, to the north-western corner of Section No. 21, Block V aforesaid; on the south-east by said Section No. 21 and Sections Nos. 20, 19, and 18 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; again on the north by a public road forming the southern boundary of said Section No. 18 to the Pourakino River, and by that river to Messrs. More Bros.' tramway; on the west by that tramway to the northern boundary-line of said Block XIX, and again on the north by that boundary-line to the point of commencement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 54030/13A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. | Proclamation dated the 24th day of February, 1886, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the 4th day of March, 1886.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by estimation 500 acres, situated in the Hokonui Survey District, being that portion of Croydon Bush lying to the north of Section No. 494, and extending westwards to the eastern boundary of Section No. 311: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 54029/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. | Proclamation dated the 24th day of February, 1886, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the 4th day of March, 1886.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by estimation 600 acres, situated in Longwood Survey District, and being islands in the Waiau River lying between its mouth and its junction with Camp Creek: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51113/11, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. | Proclamation dated the 24th day of February, 1886, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the 4th day of March, 1886.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of β€œThe Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owner and occupiers of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hawera County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Omona Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first hereinbefore proclaimed.
