A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto are State forests under the control of the Commissioner of State Forests appointed under “The New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and the said lands are now no longer required for State-forest purposes: And whereas plans showing the extent and position of the said lands, and a statement of the reasons why they are no longer required for State-forest purposes, have been laid before both Houses of Parliament for a period of thirty days, and no resolution has been passed by either of such Houses objecting to the issue of this Proclamation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by “The New Zealand State Forests Act Amendment Act, 1888,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Proclamations specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, so far as they relate to the lands described in the first column of the Schedule hereto, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette; and doth hereby proclaim and declare that from and after such date the parcels of land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be no longer subject to the provisions of the said Act.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5,450 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks III and IV, Kaihu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a line, 39400 links; towards the east by a line, 14400 links; towards the south by the Onuwhao Block (No. 3200), 13400 links; towards the south-east by the Waimata Block (No. 3199), 14600 links; and towards the south-west by land reserved for the Kaihu Valley Railway Company, 24300 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 53362/12, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 7,750 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IX and X, Tutamoe Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Block V and Block VI, Tutamoe Survey District, 31230 links; towards the east by Section No. 12 of Block XI of the same district, the abutment of a public road, and part of the aforesaid Block XI, 25000 links; towards the south by part of Block XIV, Section No. 1 of the last-mentioned block, and part of Block XIII of the same district, 29081 links; towards the south-west by Opanake No. 1e and No. 1b Blocks, 3910 links; and towards the west by Section No. 1 of Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District aforesaid, 21739 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55519/7, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 6,433 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks V, IX, X, XI, and XIV, Mangakahia Survey District, and known as part of the Oue State Forest Reserve. Bounded towards the north-west generally by Pariotane Block, Section No. 1, Block V, Mangakahia Survey District, and a public road; towards the north generally by Native land, the Mangakahia River, a public road, the crossing of a public road, a public road, the Oue No. 2b Block, the crossing of a public road, again by Oue No. 2b Block to the Parakau Stream; thence by the Parakau Stream to its confluence with the Oue Stream, by the Oue Stream, a public road, the crossing of a public road, the Oue Block, Section 2 of Block X, the crossing of a public road, a public road, the Waiaruhe Block, a public road, again by the Waiaruhe Block, a line, a public road, and a line to the Otarao Stream; towards the east generally by the Otarao Stream; towards the south generally by the Maungatipa State Forest Reserve; and towards the south-west by Te Karaka Block: save and excepting the roads intersecting the land herein described: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55638/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged with red. | Proclamation dated the 12th day of October, 1886, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 54, of the 14th day of October, 1886.

All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 222 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 4 and 11, Block III, Wai-iti Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road and Section No. 161, Block III aforesaid; towards the east by a public road; towards the south generally by a public road and Section No. 14, Block III aforesaid; and towards the west generally by Section No. 10, Block III aforesaid, a public road, and Section No. 8, Block III aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57517/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,675 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks XI and XII, Takaka Survey District, and Block XIV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, and including Sections Nos. 5 and 6, Block XI, Takaka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Crown lands, 7220 and 8640 links; thence towards the east by Sections Nos. 14 and 9, Block VII, Kaiteriteri Survey District, 7394 links; thence towards the south by Sections Nos. 2, Block VII, and 3, Block XIV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, 4277 links; thence again towards the east by the said Section No. 3, 3029 links; thence again towards the south by land withdrawn from State forest by Proclamation dated 3rd October, 1904, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of the 6th October, 1904; again towards the east and towards the south-east by the Takaka–Riwaka Road; and towards the west generally by Section No. 83, Block XI, Takaka Survey District, 7741 and 152 links; and by Section No. 7, 5189 links; by Section No. 8, 3298 links; and by Section No. 13, 4612 links, all of Block XI, Takaka Survey District.
Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,147 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks VII, XIV, and XV, Kaiteriteri Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Section No. 4, Block VII, 1290 and 7270 links; towards the south-east by Crown lands, 17004 links; towards the south by Crown lands, 7350 links; and towards the west by lands withdrawn from State forest by Proclamation dated 3rd October, 1904, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of the 6th October, 1904, and by the Takaka–Riwaka Road.
