NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 302 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that the office or place of business of the Royal Insurance Company (Limited) for the Wellington District is situate at the offices of Messrs. W. M. Bannatyne and Co. (Limited), in Customhouse Quay, in the City of Wellington.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Queensland Insurance Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that the name of the North Queensland Insurance Company (Limited) has been changed to the “QUEENSLAND INSURANCE COMPANY (LIMITED),” which company is duly incorporated in New South Wales and carries on business in New Zealand. The head office or place of business of the company in New Zealand will remain as heretofore at Hunter Street, in the City of Wellington.
The company is now carrying on the business of ACCIDENT INSURANCE in addition to the fire and marine insurance business as hitherto carried on.

WAIMEA COUNTY.
BY-LAW No. 3.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and every other Act or Acts amending the same, and every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Waimea County hereby makes the following by-law for the good rule and government of the Waimea County. Such by-law to come into force on the 2nd day of December, 1907.

This by-law may be cited and referred to as By-law No. 3 of the Waimea County, and shall be read with and form part of By-law No. 1 of the Waimea County.

(a.) No person shall take across the suspension bridge over the Motueka River near its junction with the Baton River, in the Waimea County, being a bridge under the care, control, or management of the Council of the Waimea County, any engine, agricultural or other machine, or vehicle which itself or together with the load thereon or attached thereto shall exceed three and one-half tons in weight.
(b.) No person shall take any engine, agricultural or other machine, or vehicle upon or across such bridge while any other engine, agricultural or other machine, or vehicle shall be upon such bridge.
(c.) No person shall drive, lead, or take over such bridge more than 200 sheep, 20 oxen, or 10 horses at one time.

Every person who shall do, or cause to be done, or be concerned in doing anything contrary to the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence against this by-law, and shall for every offence be liable to a penalty not exceeding five pounds (£5) sterling.

This special order and by-law shall come into force on the 2nd day of December, 1907.
Given under the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Waimea County.
The said seal was hereto affixed by authority of a resolution of the Waimea County Council passed at an ordinary meeting held on the 7th day of November, 1907, in the presence of—

The foregoing By-law No. 3 was made by the Council of the Waimea County by special order. The resolution to make such by-law was passed at a special meeting of the Waimea County Council held at the county offices on the 3rd day of October, 1907, and such resolution was confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Waimea County Council held at the county offices on the 7th day of November, 1907, public notice of the time and place of such subsequent meeting and of such resolution having been duly given as required by law.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately carried on between us, the undersigned, JOSEPH AUGUSTUS GILBERTSON and EDWARD JOSEPH O’REGAN, at Feilding, in the Dominion of New Zealand, as Builders and Contractors, under the style or firm-name of “Gilbertson and O’Regan,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 18th day of October last.
