RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.—Loan of £5,500.—Pukeokahu and Mangahoa ta Roads.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Rangitikei County Council doth hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,500, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of trimming and graveling the Pukeokahu Road from its junction with the Moawhango Valley Road to the Mangahoa ta Road, and the Mangahoa ta Road from the Pukeokahu Road to the east boundary of Section 49, Block X, Pukeokahu Survey District (about ten miles), and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Pukeokahu Special-rating District, comprising part Awarua 2c No. 2 (1,060 acres), Section part 10 (50 acres), and Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 17A, 18, 19, 20, 43, and 47, Block IX; Sections 44, 45, 46, 48, 49, 50, and 51, Block X; Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, part 31 (100 acres), 32, 33, part 36 (160 acres), and 54, and Awarua 2A No. 2B (1,545 acres), Block XIII; and Sections 52 and 53, Block XIV—all in the Pukeokahu Survey District; and Awarua 2A No. 2A, containing 84 acres, in Block I, Ruahine Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum.

I, Robert Kirkpatrick Simpson, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 5th day of October, 1907, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Rangitikei County Council held on the 2nd day of November, 1907.

In testimony whereof the common seal of the Rangitikei County Council has been hereunto affixed.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.—Loan of £120, Papakai Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Rangitikei County Council doth hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £120, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” being 10 per cent. additional on loan of £1,200, raised for the purpose of trimming, culverting, and graveling the Papakai Road from Taihape to Section 8, Block XV, Ohinewairua Survey District, a distance of about 230 chains, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Papakai Special-rating District, as described on page 2827 of the New Zealand Gazette of 1905, and comprising part Section 47 (322 acres), Sections 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, and 54, in Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District; part Section 6 (160¼ acres), and Sections 7 and 8, and part Awarua 3A No. 2r (380 acres), all in Block XV, Ohinewairua Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of 4 per centum per annum.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Rangitikei County Council doth hereby resolve as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” being 10 per centum additional on loan of £3,000, raised for the purpose of culverting and metalling the Makohine-Mangaweka Road from the railway-line to the Makohine Stream, a distance of about six miles, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Awarua South Special-rating District, as described on page 2631 of the New Zealand Gazette of 1902, and comprising Sections 28 and 29, Block VIII, Tiriraukawa Survey District; Sections 5, 6, and 7, Block V, Hautapu Survey District; Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 7B (51¼ acres), 7D (41 acres), 8, 9, and 10, Block IX, Hautapu Survey District; and Section 40G (48¼ acres), Block X, Hautapu Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum.
