COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A PUBLIC-HALL SITE AND RECREATION AND SHOW GROUND ON PARTS OF SECTIONS 76 AND 28, PARISH OF PAREMOREMO, BLOCK III, WAITEMATA SURVEY DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” by the Waitemata County Council to execute a certain public work, to wit, the provision of a public-hall site, show and recreation ground, on parts of Sections 76 and 28, Parish of Paremoremo, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Waitemata County Council, No. 15 Palmers-ton Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the office of the Waitemata County Council, situate as aforesaid.

WAIPU ROAD BOARD.
NOXIOUS WEEDS.
AT a meeting of the Waipu Road Board held on Tuesday, 17th September, 1907, it was resolved that Canadian or Californian thistle, sweetbriar, gorse, and hakea be declared noxious weeds within the Waipu Road District, in accordance with the provisions of “The Noxious Weeds Act, 1900.”

EVIDENCE having been supplied of the loss of Policy No. 1266057 in the books of the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States on the life of FRANK LIONEL ANDERSON, of Pepepe, I hereby give notice that it is the intention of this society to issue, after the expiration of one month from date, a certified copy-policy, under section 28 of the Life Assurance Policies Act.
