Special Order made by the Okain’s Bay Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Okain’s Bay Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

SPECIAL ORDER raising Loan of £1,000 for New Wharf, Road, and Shed at Okain’s Bay.
THAT this Board do by special order to be made at a special meeting to be held on the 19th day of September, 1907, raise a loan of £1,000, under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and subsection (a) of section 8 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903,” such loan to be expended in erecting a new wharf and shed at Okain’s Bay, and forming road to same; and that, in pursuance and exercise of its powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the said Okain’s Bay Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Okain’s Bay Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for a wharf, shed, and road, the said Okain’s Bay Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Okain’s part of the district, as comprised in special order made by the Okain’s Bay Road Board on the 30th day of May, 1891, levying special rate for payment of interest and other charges on loan of £1,400 from the Government; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Description of Special-rating District as comprised in the above Special Order.
Commencing at the intersection of the Stony Bay Beach Road with the road running through Section 400, following that road south-westerly along to the boundary between Sections 2462 and 14469; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south boundary of Section 14469 to the north-east boundary of Section 14248; from thence in a north-westerly direction to its northernmost corner; thence generally south-westerly along the north-west boundaries of Sections 14248, 22812, 15793, 22830, 20401, 25264, 25294, 26300, 34501, 31421, 35415, 34711, and 23112 to the southernmost corner of Section 32248; thence north-westerly to the northernmost corner of Section 35393; thence south-westerly along the boundaries of Sections 35393, 35098, 35099, and 35210 to the westernmost corner of the latter section, and from thence south-easterly along the north-east boundary of Section 34181 to the West Peak Road; thence south-westerly along that road to the Waterfall Road; thence in a south-westerly direction along that road to the north-west corner of Section 34790; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 35832, 35833, and 22789 to the south-east corner of the latter section; thence westerly along the south boundary of this sec-
