THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
The vessel is 72ft. long, and her stern lies on the edge
of the cutting, with her bow heading towards mid-channel.
A red flag by day and two red lights shown vertically by
night will be shown from the mast of one of the ketches
moored alongside. Care should be exercised when navigating vessels in the vicinity.
This affects Admiralty Charts Nos. 2389B, 1750, and 1752.

NORTH COAST OF AUSTRALIA.
Referring to Notice to Mariners No. 10 of 1907,* masters
of vessels and others are hereby informed that a further
reef, with three fathoms of water on it, has been reported
by the commander of H.M.S. “Fantome” as existing in
lat. 10° 30', long. 141° 12'.
This affects Admiralty Chart No. 1042.

GULF ST. VINCENT.—ENTRANCE TO PORT ADELAIDE RIVER.
Notice is hereby given that the black buoy at the entrance
to the river has disappeared, and will not be replaced, being
no longer required.
Also that No. 1 green light, which during deepening
operations was temporarily placed on the reflecting beacon,
is now placed on a new beacon erected on the eastern corner
of the north bank, and abreast of the junction of Nos. 1 and
2 leads.
This affects Admiralty Charts Nos. 2389B, 1750, and 1752.

TIMOR SEA.
Notice is hereby given that the commander of H.M.S.
“Fantome” reports a coral patch south Timor Island.
The patch is about half a mile long, in a N.W. and S.E.
direction, with four fathoms water on it. Position : Lat. 11°
37' 54" S., long. 123° 57' 15" E.
This affects Admiralty Charts Nos. 2759A, 475, and 942A.

Notice is hereby given that the commander of H.M.S.
“Fantome” has ascertained the correct position of Charles
Point Lighthouse to be lat. 12° 23' 37" S., long. 130° 30'
