Lands proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block VII,
Pou rerere Survey District, Patangata County.

PLUNKET, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred
by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its
amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the con-
sent of the owners of the lands mentioned in the First
Schedule hereto, and of the Patangata County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said lands
are situated, proclaim as a road the lands in Pourerere
Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and
also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim
as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto,
which is not required by reason of the road first herein-
before proclaimed.

are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and
coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of
the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wel-
ington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its
Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this fifteenth day of October, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred
and seven.

a-Kupe No. 2, Huangarua Survey District, Featherston
County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a
gravel-pit in Huangarua Survey District:
And whereas the Featherston County Council has laid
before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map,
and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said
Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public
Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim
and declare that, from and after the date of the publication
hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a
gravel-pit.
