Declaring Road-lines through Land in the Wangapeka Settlement to be closed.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General from which it appears that the roads described in the Schedule hereto are unformed and unused, and that they intersect land acquired under “The Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900,” and are not suitable for the subdivision of such land :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of section sixty-nine of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do by this notice hereby close the roads hereinafter described, and I do hereby declare that they shall thereupon become subject to the said Act.

Exempting Crown Land from “The Mining Act, 1905.”
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN exercise of the powers conferred on me by “The Mining Act, 1905,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby exempt from the aforesaid Act and its amendments the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 128 acres, more or less, situated in Block IX, Te Aroha Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road bounding Te Ruakaka Block; towards the north-east by parts of Sections Nos. 17B and 17D, being subdivisions of Original Section No. 17, Block IX aforesaid; towards the south-east generally by part of Section No. 17A, and part of Te Aroha Township and railway reserve; and towards the south-west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked Mines, 1906/617, deposited in the Head Office, Mines Department, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Infants’ and Invalids’ Foods.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS the articles specified in the Schedule hereto are imported into New Zealand, and are articles which, in the opinion of the Minister of Customs, possess such properties that they can be used for a purpose similar to that for which infants’ and invalids’ farinaceous foods are used, the said foods being free of duty under “The Tariff Act, 1907” :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon me by section seventeen of “The Tariff Act, 1907,” do hereby direct that the articles specified in the said Schedule, being infants’ and invalids’ foods, shall be admitted into New Zealand free of duties of Customs.
