Land taken for a Road in Block X, Patutahi Survey District, Cook County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section twenty-one of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor may at any time, by Proclamation duly gazetted, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect to the taking or setting apart of other lands for such purpose:

And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block X, Patutahi Survey District:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a road.

A. R. P. 46 0 0 Waimata Reserve (Arai Matewai) X Patutahi .. R. 616 Red.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Lands taken for Road Purposes in Sections 1, Block XII, and 2, Block XVIII, Weber Survey District, Weber County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Blocks XII and XVIII, Weber Survey District:

And whereas agreements have been entered into with the owners and lessee of the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto to take such lands for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas plans have been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the lands, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreements hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the said road in Weber Survey District.

Lands proclaimed as Roads, and Roads closed, through Blocks VII and XI, Kaihu Survey District, Hobson County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners, lessee, and mortgagees of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hobson County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as roads the lands in Kaihu Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto, which are not required by reason of the roads first hereinbefore proclaimed.
