Stopping a Government Road in Section 100, Parish of Otan, Opaheke and Wairoa Survey Districts.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, subsection (c), of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road in Blocks IV, Opaheke, and XIV, Wairoa Survey Districts:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Blocks IV, Opaheke, and XIV, Wairoa Survey Districts, hereinafter described.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, with the consent of the owner and of the mortgagee of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Cook County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land in Patutahi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
