Regulation for Trout-fishing in the Otago Acclimatisation District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1907.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” and its amendments, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulation for the Otago Acclimatisation District, being all that area within the Otago Provincial District bounded on the east and south by the ocean from Shag Point to the mouth of the Mataura River; on the west, south-west, and south by the Mataura River and the Counties of Southland and Wallace; on the north-west by the ocean; and on the north, north-west, and north-east by the Counties of Westland and Waitaki, together with the boroughs and town districts within the same, and hereinafter called “the said district” :—

REGULATION.

Any regulation regarding the number or weight of trout which a person may take or catch in any one day or other specified period which has been made or which may be made by general regulations under “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” or its amendments, shall not apply to the said district.

Boundaries of Borough of Karori and City of Wellington altered.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1907.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS a petition has been presented to the Governor, under section one hundred and seventy-six of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” praying the Governor to alter the boundaries of the City of Wellington and of the Borough of Karori by excluding from the said Borough of Karori the area described in the Schedule hereto and including it in the said City of Wellington: And whereas a notice showing the proposed alteration in boundaries of the said city and the said borough has been gazetted and publicly notified, and an objection in writing against such alteration was lodged by the Karori Borough Council: And whereas such objection has been duly considered, and it is deemed expedient to make the alteration prayed for in the said petition :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that, as on and from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Borough of Karori and shall be included in the City of Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Wellington Land District situated in Blocks VI and X, Port Nicholson Survey District. Bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-eastern side of the Karori Road by the eastern boundary-line of the Original Section No. 29 in Block VI aforesaid; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of the said Karori Road to a point where it is intersected by the eastern side of Baker’s Hill Road; thence along the eastern and southern side of the said Baker’s Hill Road over the top of the tunnel to the junction of the said Baker’s Hill Road and Moana Road; thence westerly along the northern boundary-line of Knight’s Farm to the Kaiwarra Stream; thence southerly along that stream to the northern boundary of the waterworks reserve; thence north-westerly along the boundary of the said waterworks reserve to its northern-most corner; thence generally south-westerly along the western boundary of the said waterworks reserve to the southern boundary of the Borough of Karori, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 65, of the 10th September, 1891; thence south-easterly along the southern boundary of the said Borough of Karori to its south-eastern corner; and thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Borough of Karori to the place of commencement.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1907.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Plumer Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

PLUMER DOMAIN.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 11, Plumer Hamlet, situated in the Parish of Waipareira (Block II, Titirangi Survey District), and containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 11 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide, 516·2 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 12 of the said Plumer Hamlet, 870·6 links; towards the south-west by Lot No. 31 of Section No. 7, Parish of Waipareira, 143·3 links; and towards the west generally by a public road along the Opanuku Stream, 350·8, 199, 208, 233, and 32·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19248/46, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserves in Southland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1907.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserves shall hereafter form part of Hirstfield Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block XI, Town of Hirstfield. Bounded
