Honorary Veterinary Lieutenant-Colonel JOHN ANDERSON GILRUTH (Principal Veterinary Officer)
as Veterinary Lieutenant-Colonel, in accordance with paragraph 128, (2), General Regulations of the Defence Forces of New Zealand, 1906, as amended by Warrant published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 12, dated 7th February, 1907. Date of commission, 30th January, 1907.

he having a total service to 16th August, 1907, entitling him thereto of twenty years one hundred and twelve days.

Special Order made by the Waitara West Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Waitara West Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

SPECIAL ORDER MADE BY THE WAITARA WEST ROAD BOARD.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waitara West Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £200, authorised to be raised by the Waitara West Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing the Davis Road, the said Waitara West Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Davis Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 99, 100, 101, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, and 127, all of which are situated in Block XI, Paritutu Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the interest on such loan is to be paid at the rate of 4 per centum per annum; and that the loan be handed over to the Moa Road Board for expenditure.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly adopted at a special meeting of the Waitara West Road Board held on the 3rd day of July, 1907, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Board held on the 7th day of August, 1907.
