Native Lands taken for the Purposes of a Road in Mangatu No. 1 Block, Blocks V, VI, X, and XI, Mangatu Survey District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of August, 1907.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in the Mangatu Block No. 1, Blocks V, VI, X, and XI, Mangatu Survey District:
And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said land, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The Public Works Act, 1905”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the eighty-ninth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the lands shown upon the map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road; and the said lands shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Consenting to closing Road in Blocks VII and VIIIA, Waimata Survey District, Cook County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this ninth day of September, 1907.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:
And whereas the Cook County Council has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby consent to the Cook County Council closing the road mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of September, 1907.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Native land and is required to be taken for scenery-preservation purposes:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The Public Works Act, 1905”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for scenery-preservation purposes as aforesaid; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
