Setting apart Lands in Canterbury Land District for Leasing
as Small Grazing-runs under “The Land Act, 1892.”

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one-hundred-and-seventy-second
section of “The Land Act, 1892,” and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William
Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands mentioned in
the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of
sections one hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and
eighty-six of Part V of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to
small grazing-runs.

Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-second day of January, in the year of
our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
first day of January, 1907.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of “The Domain Boards
Act, 1904” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it
is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with
respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not
exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board
having, subject to “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” control
of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made under the
provisions of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” on the
seventeenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred
and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
six, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881” :
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice of the
Executive Council of the said Colony of New Zealand, doth
hereby appoint

JOHN FRANCIS MCCLENAGHAN,
CHARLES HENRY HOPE,
WALTER KEITH WILLIAMS,
HERBERT CRAVEN,
DAVID BRUCE,
DANIEL SULLIVAN,

to be the Mangaroa Domain Board, having the control of the
land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes
of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth
