TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
SPECIAL order of the Tamaki West Road Board made and enacted under “The Noxious Weeds Act, 1900,” passed on the 17th day of August, 1907, and sealed with the common seal of the said Board on the 17th day of August, 1907, and shall come into force on being gazetted, whereby the Tamaki West Road Board doth declare that Bathurst burr and gorse are noxious weeds within the jurisdiction of the Tamaki West Road Board.
Passed by the Road Board of the said Tamaki West Road District by special order of the 17th day of August, 1907.
The common seal of the said body corporate was hereto affixed by special order.

THE following special order, made by the Tamaki West Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.
Additional By-laws of the Body Corporate called “The Inhabitants of the Tamaki West Road District,” made and enacted by and under Special Order of the Tamaki West Road Board passed on the 17th day of August, 1907, and sealed with the Common Seal of the said Board on the 17th day of August, 1907, and shall come into force on being gazetted.
In pursuance of the powers in that behalf vested in it by “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and its amendments, “The Public Health Act, 1900,” and its amendments, and “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and all other statutes it thereunto enabling, the Road Board of the Tamaki West Road District doth hereby ordain as follows :—
- No person shall construct or have any privy or closet other than a water-flushed closet except in accordance with the following provisions, and the owner or occupier of any premises upon which any privy or closet exists shall at any time after two months from the coming into force of this by-law cause such privy or closet to conform in every respect thereto :—
(a.) Every privy or closet other than a water-flushed closet shall be so constructed or altered that the pan must be removed without going into or through any part of any dwellinghouse or building used for habitation.
(b.) Every privy or closet other than a water-flushed closet shall be so constructed or altered that at least one of its sides shall be an external wall, and shall be fitted with a trap-door or slide so placed that the pan may be reached for the purpose of removal and replacing from the outside of such privy or closet.
(c.) Every privy or closet other than a water-flushed closet shall be provided with a removable watertight metal receptacle made in accordance with such model pan or pans as may from time to time be determined by resolution of the Board and approved by the District Health Officer.
(d.) These by-laws shall be in force and shall affect the part of the Tamaki West Road District known as St. Heliers Bay Township, being the whole of the land shown on plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland as No. 410 :
Provided that if before the coming into force of this by-law the owner or occupier has provided a removable watertight metal receptacle with at least two handles of not greater capacity than 2 cubic feet, it shall not be compulsory upon the owner or occupier of the premises to provide the “regulation pan” herein specified until served with a notice in writing by the Sanitary Inspector appointed by the Board requiring him so to do.
Any person breaking or failing or neglecting to comply with the above by-laws, or any of them, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding five pounds for each offence.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Barrett Road Board proposes at a special meeting to be held on the 26th June, 1907, to make the following special order :—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Barrett Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150, authorised to be raised by the Barrett Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for Devon Road extension, the said Barrett Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Barrett Road District, comprising part Section 12, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 5 acres 1 rood 33 perches; part Section 12, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 2 acres; 11 N.R., part Section 7, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 109 acres 1 rood 6 perches; part Section 7, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 16 acres 2 roods 37 perches; part Section 8, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 41 acres 2 roods 8 perches; Lot 154 of Section 13, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 5 acres 2 roods 7 perches; Lot 153 of Section 13, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 6 acres 1 rood 8 perches; Lots 155, 156, 157, 158, of Section 13, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 13 acres 2 roods 12 perches; Lot 159 of Section 13, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey District, 3 acres 1 rood 14 perches; part Section 3, Blocks 4 and 5, Paritutu Survey
