Crown Lands in the Nelson District proclaimed under “The Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900.”

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the sixty-eighth section of “The Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be included in and deemed to be portion of the Wangapeka Settlement.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement 1,555 acres, more or less, bounded towards the north by Sections 4 and 17, Block VII, and the road-line forming the southern boundary of the said Section 17 and of Section 12 of Block VIII, all of the Wangapeka Survey District; towards the east generally by Section 16 of Block VIII, Sections 29, 30, and 13 of Block XII, across and by a road-line forming the southern boundary of said Section 13, by a road-line forming part of the north-west boundary of Section 8, by the said Section 8, and by Section 14, across and by a road-line forming the western boundary of Section 14, all of Block XII, Wangapeka Survey District; towards the south by Section 13 and by a road-line forming the northern boundary of Section 11 of Block XI; and towards the west generally by Sections 6, 2, 3, and 4 of said Block XI, and by Section 1 of Block VII, all of the Wangapeka Survey District.

Also all that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement 94 acres, more or less, being Section 33, Square 6, Block XI, Wangapeka Survey District.

As the same are delineated upon the plan marked L. and S. 19374, deposited in the Head Office of the Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington, and thereon, together with the Wangapeka Settlement itself, edged with red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Additional Land in Kawatiri Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Westport–Ngakawau Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Westport–Ngakawau Railway to take further land in Kawatiri Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

THE parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Portion of Block No. Situated in the Survey District of
A. R. P. 2 2 28·7 Road reserve II Kawatiri.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 15620, deposited in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ERRATA.—Pages 2571 to 2584 (both inclusive) of Gazette No. 73 of 15th August, 1907, are incorrectly paged, the page numbers being repetitions of those of the previous fourteen pages of Supplementary Gazette No. 72, of 8th August, 1907. In Schedule to Proclamation, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 67, page 2301, of the 1st August, 1907, lands taken for a road through Section 25, Block VI, Pohangina Survey District, for “Block V” read “Block VI.”
