PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1905,” the undersigned, John Hessey, of Masterton, Mine-owner, hereby applies for a license for a water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner’s right: 9th July, 1907; No. 37350.
Address for service: Care of John A. Clark, Tauranga.
Dated at Tauranga, this 13th day of July, 1907.

Schedule.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: No. 1—at Te Puke. Starting at a point about 40 chains west above the Te Puke Gold Reefs’ property, and terminating at junction of Wairapukau and Raparapahoe Streams. Pegged out on 11th July, 1907, at 3 p.m. Marks on pegs: H.
Length and intended course of race: About two miles and a half; east and west.
Points of intake: At the forks right and left branches of Raparapahoe Stream.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Twelve months; £1,500.
Mean depth and breadth: 8 ft. by 4 ft.
Number of heads to be diverted: Forty.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Mining.

THE NEW BUNKER’S HILL GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

Special Resolutions, passed 4th July, 1907, confirmed 23rd July, 1907.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the New Bunker’s Hill Gold-mining Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street, in the City of Auckland, on the 4th day of July, 1907, the subjoined special resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the company’s office, Shortland Street, in the said City of Auckland, on the 23rd day of July, 1907, the subjoined special resolution was duly confirmed:—

  1. That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this company with the Old Hauraki Gold-mining Company (Limited), and that with a view thereto this company be wound up voluntarily, and that CHARLES ARTHUR STUBBS be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the Old Hauraki Gold-mining Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at the office of the company, Victoria Arcade, Shortland Street, in the City of Auckland, on the 4th day of July, 1907, the subjoined special resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 23rd day of July, 1907, the subjoined special resolution was duly confirmed:—

  1. That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this company with the New Bunker’s Hill Gold-mining Company (Limited), and that with a view thereto this company be wound up voluntarily, and that HENRY GILFILLAN, the younger, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.
