Special Order made by the Council of the County of Ekatahuna.

THE following special order, made by the Ekatahuna County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order.—Special Meeting of the Ekatahuna County Council on the 8th day of June, 1907, at 3 p.m.

PROPOSED by Councillor Pitcaithly, and seconded by Councillor Redpath,—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Ekatahuna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £350 sterling, authorised to be raised by the Ekatahuna County Council, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of supplementing a grant of £200 for the purpose of erecting a suspension bridge (traffic) over the Mangatainoka River in the Ekatahuna County, giving access to Sections 40, 44, and 47, Block VII, Tararua Survey District, the said Ekatahuna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3½d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Larsen’s Bridge Special-rating District, comprising Sections 40, 44, and 47, Block VII, Tararua Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be paid on such loan is at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum. The cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year to be paid out of the loan.

I hereby certify that the above special order was made at a special meeting of the Ekatahuna County Council held at 3 p.m. on the 8th day of June, 1907, and was confirmed at a subsequent special meeting held on the 13th day of July, 1907.

THE following special order, made by the Woodville County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

SPECIAL ORDER MADE BY THE WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Woodville County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £250, authorised to be raised by the Woodville County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing the Makairo-Kumeroa and Awapikopiko Roads, the said Woodville County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Makairo-Kumeroa-Awapikopiko Special-rating District, comprising Sections 1, 2, 18, 19, 20, 24, 37, 39, Block XIII, Tahoraita Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify the above special order was duly adopted at a special meeting of the above Council held on the 6th day of June, 1907, and was duly confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the 11th day of July, 1907.

Special Order made by the Pukekura Road Board.

THE following special order, made by the Pukekura Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.

Special Order authorising Payment of Interest and Sinking Fund on Moneys borrowed to pay the above Board’s Share of the Cost of the Cambridge High-level Bridge.

A SPECIAL meeting to confirm the following special order carried by the Pukekura Road Board held on the 31st May, 1907, will be held at the Farmers’ Club Room, Cambridge, on the 12th day of July, 1907:—

That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1902,” section 5, the Pukekura Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That from and after the 1st day of August, 1907, the Pukekura Road Board shall pay all interest and sinking fund accruing due on the above loan out of the General Road Board Fund.

Resolved at the special meeting of above Board held this day, 12th July, 1907, above resolution was duly confirmed.
