Land temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Section No. 26, Block XV, Patetere North Survey District (Selwyn Settlement). Bounded towards the north-west by Lots Nos. 430, 431, 432, 433, 434, and 435, Town of Lichfield, 800 links; towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide, 1350 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 27, Block XV, Patetere North Survey District, 800 links; and towards the south-west by a public road 100 links wide, 1350 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57305/2, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 25 of the said Block XI, 393·5 links; towards the south-east by Battery Hill Road, 550 links; towards the south-west and north-west by the Baton Road, 413 and 546 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a site for a public cemetery.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood 33 perches, more or less, being Section No. 31, Block XV, Wangapeka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 32 of the said Block XV, 2074 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 63 of the said Block XV, 2447 links; towards the west by the Wangapeka–Sherry Road, 1298 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a public recreation-ground.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Section No. 26, Block XI, Wangapeka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 17 of the said Block XI, 348 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 25 of the said Block XI, 522 links; and towards the north-west by the Baton Road, 739 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For gravel purposes.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 36 perches, more or less, being Section No. 25, Block XI, Wangapeka Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 17 of the said Block XI, 277 links; towards the south-east by the Battery Hill Road, 702 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 24 of the said Block XI, 393·5 links; towards the north-west by the Baton Road, 96 links; and by Section No. 26 of the said Block XI, 522 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a site for a public school.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19374/15, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Auckland Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart for cemetery purposes, being a reserve within Class I of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and such land has not been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees:
And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for a public recreation-ground, being a reserve within Class III of the aforesaid Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the second section of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, be appropriated for a public recreation-ground under Class III of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881”; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 76A, Paremoremo Parish. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 76 of the said parish, 1084 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 106A, 1078 links; and towards the west by a public road, 213 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 29224/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Assenting to the Revocation of an Order issued by the Warden declaring that Land in the Westland Mining District shall cease to be Subject to the Operations of “The Mining Act, 1905.”
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Mining Act, 1905,” and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby assent to the revocation by the Warden of an order issued by him on the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and four, declaring that until the assent of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand is ascertained all that parcel of land situated in Blocks V and IX, Kanieri Survey District, and being all the land mentioned and described in a grant of a special claim, No. K 443, registered in the books of the Mining Registrar at Hokitika as No. 264, shall cease to be subject to the operations of “The Mining Act, 1905,” the aforesaid order having been assented to by the Governor. This revocation to take effect on and after the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
