Locality and Description.
Lot 6 of Town Acre 726 comprises an area of 21·6 perches, has a frontage to Crawford Street of 67·04 links (about 44½ ft.), and extends back towards Wallace Street for a depth of about 133 ft. 4 in. It is slightly broken, roughly grassed, and about 5 ft. or 6 ft. above the level of the street.
Lots 7 and 8 of Town Acre 726 comprise areas of 21·3 perches and 21·2 perches respectively, and are situated near the southern end of Wallace Street, the former having a frontage thereto of 67·45 links (about 44½ ft.) and the latter a frontage of 67·56 links (about 44 ft. 7 in.). The depth of each is about 130 ft. Lot 8 is bounded on the south by the Town Belt. These two lots are low-lying, especially near the centre and towards the back.
Part of Town Acre 128 comprises an area of 10·8 perches, has a frontage of 37 links (about 24½ ft.) to Cuba Street, and extends back for a depth of about 121 ft. to a private right-of-way from Ingestre Street. The frontage to this right-of-way is about 24½ ft. Included in the price of the land are buildings, &c., of the value of £190 (marked A on plan). The owners of the houses, &c., which encroach on the land (marked B and C on plan) will have the right to remove them within one month from date of sale if they do not become the purchasers of the allotment.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
All that land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 1, Block I, of Township of Matamata. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 1, Block II, Tapapa Survey District, 100 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 2, Block I, Township of Matamata, 250 links; towards the south-west by a public road 200 links wide, 100 links; towards the north-west by Section No. 1, Block II, Tapapa Survey District aforesaid, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57429/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a public pound.

Bounded towards the north by a public road 100 links wide, 500 links; towards the east by Section No. 10 of the Parish of Pakiri, 2119 links; towards the south by a right-of-way 50 links wide, 960 links; and towards the west generally by a stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57376/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.

Commencing at the eastern angle of Section No. 176, thence bounded towards the north-east by Third Avenue, 100 links; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 42 and 25, 400 links; again towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29, 625 links; again towards the south-east by Fourth Avenue, 100 links; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, 625 links; again towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 24 and 15, 400 links; again towards the south-west by a closed street, 100 links; and towards the north-west by a straight line, 900 links, to the commencing point: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49986/35, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a public recreation-ground.
