Land taken for a Road through Section 13, Block V,
Pohangina Survey District, Pohangina County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its
amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, with the consent of the
owners and mortgagee of the land hereinafter mentioned,
and with the consent of the Pohangina County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said land is
situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a
road the land in Pohangina Survey District hereinafter
described, that is to say,—

SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of Land taken. Being Portion of Section No. Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Shown on Plan Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 6 3 34·7 13 V Pohangina R. 8944 Red.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His
Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-fifth day of July, in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Section 366,
Block II, Tiffin Survey District, Taratahi Plain, Waira-
rapa South County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its
amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent
of the owners and mortgagees of the land mentioned in the
First Schedule hereto, and of the Wairarapa South County
Council, being the local authority in whose district the said
land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Tiffin
Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto;
and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, pro-
claim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first
hereinbefore proclaimed.

more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured
as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.

Additional Land in the Township of Mataroa taken for the
Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island
Main Trunk Railway to take further land in the Township
of Mataroa, in addition to land previously acquired for the
purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred on me
by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight
of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.

THE several parcels of land mentioned hereunder :—

Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Welling-
ton, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His
Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this thirtieth day of July, in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.
