HORSE TERRACE SLUICING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Horse Terrace Sluicing Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at No. 108 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on Thursday, 11th July, 1907, the following extraordinary resolutions were duly passed, viz.:

1. That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is desirable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.

2. That HENRY GILFILLAN, the Younger, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Bendigo Dredging Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the registered office of the company, No. 1 Moray Place, Dunedin, on the 7th day of May, 1907, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 14th day of June, 1907, the following resolution was duly confirmed: “That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JOHN BARNET BRUGH, of Dunedin, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up, at a fee of £15 15s.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at Empire Buildings, No. 113 Princes Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 2nd day of September, 1907, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.
