Reserve brought under “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906.”

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve vested in the Crown for public purposes by virtue of “The Queenstown Reserves Act, 1905,” and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the first-mentioned Act, and also that the control of the said reserve is hereby vested in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said first-mentioned Act, and also that the said reserve shall be administered under that Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land, situate in the Town of Queenstown, being Block No. 52 on the map of the said town, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west by Horne Creek, 1220 links; towards the north-east by Camp Street, 310 links; towards the east by Frankton Road, 315 links; towards the south-east by Park Street, 780 links; and towards the south-west by Park Reserve, 239 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Parnell Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a site for a public library and reading-room:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Parnell Borough Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Parnell Borough, in trust, for a site for a public library and reading-room.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 16·8 perches, more or less, being part of Lot No. 71 of Section No. 1, Suburbs of Auckland; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 42421/2, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Kawhia County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for road-metal purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Kawhia County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Kawhia County, in trust, for road-metal purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block VI, Pirongia Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by lines 516, 700, and 420 links respectively; and towards the north-west by a public road, 304, 251, and 177 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56470/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and edged red thereon.

Vesting a Reserve in the Picton Borough Council.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for reservoir purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Picton Borough Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Picton Borough, in trust, for reservoir purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Sections Nos. 903, 904, 921, and 922, Town of Picton. Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 905 and 920, 500 links; towards the east by Dorset Street, 200 links; towards the south by Canterbury Street, 500 links; and towards the west by Cornwall Street, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56970/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of “The Maori Land Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act, 1906,” it is provided that the Governor may, by Order in Council, confer upon the Court, or upon any person or persons named in such order, all powers and jurisdiction necessary or expedient to enable the Court or such person or persons to carry out and give effect to any agreement or arrangement made by and among the plaintiffs in the action or suit No. 818 in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Wellington District, holden at Napier, for ascertaining and
