gunpowder or other explosives, shall anchor as near as possible in the centre of the stream, not higher up the river than abreast of the county wharf at Te Kopuru, until such gunpowder or other explosives have been discharged. In any of the other rivers in the harbour such a vessel shall anchor in such place as may be directed by the Harbourmaster, and remain there until the gunpowder or other explosives have been landed or shipped.

  1. The gunpowder or other explosives shall be landed at or shipped from such places and in such manner as directed by the Harbourmaster.

  2. Any person committing a breach of these regulations, or either of them, is liable to a penalty not exceeding twenty pounds.

Appointment of Otau Domain Board revoked.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and three, certain powers were delegated to the Wairoa Road Board as the Otau Domain Board in respect of the Otau Domain therein described:

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Domain Boards Act, 1904,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Matamata Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

MATAMATA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Block XII, Matamata Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Miro Street, 1150 links; towards the south-east by Hohaia Street, 850 links; towards the south-west by Huia Street, 1150 links; and towards the north-west by Meura Street, 850 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 19293/333, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Bounded towards the north by McDonnell Street, 625·7 links; towards the east by Clendon Esplanade, 211·2, 160·9, and 140·6 links; towards the south by Nimmo Street, 673·6 links; and towards the west by Parnell Street, 505 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56691/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Scenic Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, 1907.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order and declare that the scenic reserve in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906”; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Ruakuri Caves Scenic Reserve, and be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 90 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section No. 6, Block X, Orahiri Survey District. Bounded towards the north and towards the north-west by the right bank of the Waitomo River; towards the north-east by the Hauturu East No. 1a Block; towards the south-east and towards the south generally by the Waitomo Valley Road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 2, Block X, Orahiri Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 51624/36A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
