This by-law was duly made by special order by the Lake County Council, and the resolution making such by-law by special order was duly passed at a special meeting of the said Council held on Tuesday, the 1st day of May, 1906, and was confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on Wednesday, the 20th day of June, 1906.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of Lake County was hereto affixed by the authority of the Lake County Council at its meeting held this 20th day of June, 1906, in the presence of—

NOTICE.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned as Barristers, Solicitors, and Notaries Public has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of December, 1906.
Mr. E. N. MILLER (who has had charge of the Mining Department for several years past) will in future conduct the business in the firm’s name, but on his own account.
All accounts due to and by the late firm will be received and paid by Mr. E. N. Miller.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership previously subsisting between the undersigned, under the style or firm of “NUGENT AND SEMPLE,” in the coaching business between Hastings and Maraekakaho, was dissolved on the 31st ultimo.
All debts due to the late firm are hereby directed to be paid to Mrs. Nugent, to whom all accounts against the late firm should be rendered.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Solicitors of the Supreme Court residing and practising within the Gisborne Judicial District, duly convened, and held at the Courthouse, Gisborne, on Friday, the 18th day of January, 1907, in pursuance of the provisions of “The District Law Societies Act, 1878,” the following resolution was duly passed:—
“That the Solicitors of the Supreme Court residing within the limits of the Gisborne Judicial District shall be associated as a society, by the name of ‘The Law Society of the District of Gisborne.’”
