APPLICATION FOR ALTERATION OF INTAKE AND COURSE OF A WATER-RACE.
To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Roxburgh.
PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1905,” the undersigned, John Harry Waigth, John Charles Harris, and James Bruce Gilmour, all of Roxburgh, Orchardists, hereby apply for a license for a water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Dates and numbers of miner’s rights: 1st April, 1907, No. 61544; 19th April, 1907, No. 61542 and No. 61543.
Address for service: Care of Robert Cockburn, Mining Agent, Roxburgh.

SCHEDULE.
Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Section 37, Block I, Benger Survey District. To alter the intake and course of water-race held under License No. 938, dated 17th May, 1906, that is to say: So that the said race will commence in Donaldson’s Creek, 80 yards higher up the said creek than the original license, thence through Section 37, Block I, Benger District, by means of iron piping, to a point in said Water-race 938 on the eastern boundary of said Section 37 near the main road.
Length of altered course: 80 yards.
Points of intake: One.
Estimated time and cost of construction: One month; £40.
Mean depth and breadth: 11 in. iron piping.
Number of heads to be diverted: One.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Domestic and irrigation purposes.
Proposed term of license: Balance of term of original License 938.

Date and numbers of miners’ rights: 16th April, 1907; Nos. 62577 and 62578.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Commencing at a point in the Manuherikia River immediately below race held by Black’s Flat Dredging Company, and running in a westerly direction through freehold lands owned by Daniel Stafford, then through lands held as special dredging claim by William Brown and crossing county road, and then through freehold lands owned by the said Daniel Stafford, and terminating there on boundary of Mr. Booth’s land. Pegs marked “X.” Time of marking off privilege applied for: 22nd day of April, 1907, at 8 a.m.
Length and intended course of race: One mile; westerly.
Point of intake: Commencing-point.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Already constructed.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Final Meeting of the shareholders will be held at the office of the Liquidator, Tyrone Buildings, Customs Street East, Auckland, at 11 a.m., on Monday, 13th May, 1907, when the following resolutions will be submitted:—

That the report of the Liquidator, together with the statement of accounts submitted to the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, be received and adopted.

That the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, be retained by the Liquidator for a period of six months, and after that period be destroyed.
