Additional Land in the Otahuhu Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land in the Otahuhu Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-one, twenty-nine, and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Branch Line from Waikaka Station on the Dunedin-Invercargill Main Line of Railway to Waikaka Township.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the branch line from Waikaka Station on the Dunedin-Invercargill main line of railway to Waikaka Township (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorised by “The Waikaka Branch Railway Act, 1905”: And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain a portion of the same:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Commencing at a point in Ballast Reserve, Block XXVI, Town of East Gore, the said point being distant 19·7 links in a north-easterly direction from a point on the centre-line of the main line of railway from Invercargill to Dunedin, and distant from Invercargill 42 miles 20 chains; proceeding from the first of the above-mentioned points generally in a northern direction for a distance of about 7 miles 20 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., Ballast Reserve, railway land, Sections Nos. 14, 13, 12, 7, 11, and 8, Block XXVI, Town of East Gore; Sections Nos. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block II, Waikaka Survey District; Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, and 41 (pre-emptive right), Block I, Chatton Survey District—and terminating at a point on the northern boundary of said Section No. 41 (P.R.) distant about 1 chain from the north-western corner thereof: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Land District of Southland: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 22683, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owner of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and of the Taranaki County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Paritutu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
