Order under Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

In the matter of an application under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” by Kingi Omeka, to amend the order of investigation of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 36 (Tiroa) Block, and to consequentially amend all other orders founded upon such order of investigation.

WHEREAS the above application has been referred by me to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported on:

And whereas by error the name of Te Kopu Omeka was inserted in the said order of investigation and in the subsequent partitions of the said land:

And whereas the proper names to have been inserted in such order and partitions, instead of the name so by error inserted, are Te Kingi te Omeka, 1 share; Te Koea te Omeka, 1 share; Tukemata te Omeka, 1 share; and Te Wera te Omeka, 1 share:

Now, therefore, for the purpose of rectifying the said error, and in exercise of the power in that behalf vested in me by section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that the said order of investigation be amended by deleting the name of Te Kopu te Omeka as an owner, and by substituting in lieu thereof the names of Te Kingi te Omeka, 1 share; Te Koea te Omeka, 1 share; Tukemata te Omeka, 1 share; and Te Wera te Omeka, 1 share; and that all other orders of the Court founded upon the said order of investigation be amended accordingly.

IT is hereby notified that the application of Hori Ngatai Ruihi, under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” for the inclusion of the name of his daughter (Ngaraima Ngatai) in the list of owners of the Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 64E Block is hereby dismissed, and leave is granted to the said applicant to appeal from this decision within fourteen days from the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

IT is hereby notified that the application of Jeremiah Ormsby, under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” for the inclusion of the names of Rangiterewai te Pakaru and others of the uri of Tuhoro in the list of owners of the Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 64 Block is hereby dismissed, and leave is granted to the said applicant to appeal from this decision within fourteen days from the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
