NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolutions were carried at an extraordinary general meeting of the company, duly convened, and held at the registered office of the company, No. 9 Liverpool Street, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 26th day of February, 1907:—

  1. “That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

  2. “That Mr. James Mitchell Ellis Garrow be appointed Liquidator of the company.”

I, STUART ALEXANDER MOORE, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Edinburgh University, 1902, and Doctor of Medicine, Edinburgh University, 1906, and now residing at Dunedin, do hereby give notice that I intend to apply on the 21st day of April, 1907, to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Colony of New Zealand, and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualifications at the office of the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on at Hastings by ROBERT JAMES SIMS and HERBERT JAMES WEBBER, trading as Pharmaceutical Chemists and Druggists, under the style of “H. J. Webber,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of March, 1906.

The business will be carried on as heretofore by the said H. J. WEBBER, who will receive all debts due to, and discharge all liabilities payable by, the late firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between STANISLAUS JOHN WHITEFORD and ALBERT WILLIAM ORGAN, carrying on business as General Storekeepers at Eltham, under the style or firm of “Whiteford and Organ,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Stanislaus John Whiteford, who will continue to carry on the said business in his own name.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the office of Messrs. Nicholson and Gribbin, Royal Insurance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on the 6th day of March, 1907, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

PUBLIC NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Council of the Borough of Karori to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” parts of Section 32 on the plan of the District of Karori for the purposes of widening the main road and constructing a tramway.

A plan showing the lands proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Borough Council, and is open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.

All persons affected are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication hereof to the Council of the Borough of Karori.

NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the company’s shareholders will be held on the 12th day of April next at the registered offices of the company in Manchester Street, Christchurch, at 3 p.m.

Business: To receive Liquidators’ account in the winding-up of the company.

In the matter of the New Zealand Electrical Construction Company (Limited), (a private company).

AT a general meeting of the above company, duly held and convened at the offices of the company in Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 22nd day of March last, the following resolution was duly passed:—

“That the New Zealand Electrical Construction Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily.”

And at such meeting an entry of the said resolution was made in the company’s minute-book, and signed by each member of the company; and, further, at such meeting Thomas Edward Taylor, of Christchurch, Customs Agent, and John Lee Scott, of Christchurch, Engineer, were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of the winding-up.
