certificate is accepted under this clause unless it is on the
form provided, and is signed by a medical officer approved
by the Minister.)

The first list contains the names of the successful candi-
dates for Classes B, C, and D. The names of the candidates
who, having been partially successful in former years, have
now passed in the subjects in which they formerly failed
are included in this list. The second list gives the names
of candidates that require to obtain a further qualification
in one or two subjects to complete the examination for the
respective certificates. In the case of candidates that relied
partly upon work done at University Examinations, the results
of those examinations have been taken into consideration in
preparing these lists. The third list gives the names of the
candidates that have passed in one or more subjects of the
examination for Class C under clause 31 or clause 32 of the
regulations. In the fourth list are given the names of the
candidates whose work has been deemed worthy of special
mention, in accordance with clause 37.

Candidates whose names are in the second list will be
advised as to the subjects in which they will have to be
further examined to complete the requirements.

The next examination will take place in January, 1908,
beginning about the 6th of the month. Notice must be given
so as to be in the office of the Department by the 30th Sep-
tember. Candidates that have obtained "partial pass"
must observe this rule equally with other candidates, and
must not expect to receive any further intimation of the date
at which the notices become due. Forms of application can
be obtained at the office of the Department or of any Educa-
tion Board.

Certificated teachers that have gained promotion at this
examination may send their certificates to the Department
for endorsement.
