And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the
said lands, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The
Public Works Act, 1905”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers
vested in him by the eighty-ninth section of the said Act,
and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this
behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare
that the lands shown upon such map, and described in the
Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the pur-
poses of the said road, and the said lands shall vest in
His Majesty the King, as from the twenty-eighth day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Authorising Sale of Land in the City of Wellington.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth
day of February, 1907.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section thirty of “The Public Works
Act, 1905” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it
is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, or
acquired at any time under that Act or any other Act or
Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any
public work is not required for such public work, the
Governor may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and
gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set
forth in the said Act :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been acquired for a public work—that is to say, for a
Ministerial residence: And whereas the said land is not
now required for the purposes of the said Ministerial
residence, and the Minister for Public Works has recom-
mended that this Order in Council should be issued
authorising such land to be sold :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, and in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities aforesaid, do hereby authorise the land described
in the Schedule hereto to be dealt with and sold in the
manner prescribed by and subject to the conditions of the
thirtieth and following sections of the said Act.

Authorising Sale of Land in Ngatimaru Survey District.

of the month and year aforesaid: And whereas the said land
is not now required for the purposes of the said railway,
and the Minister for Public Works has recommended that
this Order in Council should be issued authorising such
land to be sold :

of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony,
doth hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the
Schedule hereto.
