I, WILLIAM DEALTRY BROWNE, of the Junior Constitutional Club, London, England, now residing at Auckland, New Zealand, do hereby give notice that I have assumed, and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and be called and known by, the surname of “Browne-Clayton” in lieu of and substitution for my present surname of “Browne,” and that such intended change or assumption of name is formally declared and evidenced by a deed poll under my hand and seal, dated this day, and intended to be forthwith enrolled in the office at Auckland of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District. In testimony whereof I do hereby sign and subscribe myself by such my intended future name.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1905.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the Woolston Borough Council, on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Woolston, proposes to widen the towing-path (now known as Richardson Terrace) at its junction with Ashbourne Street, near the Radley Bridge, and for that purpose requires to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto. And further notice is hereby given that a survey has been made and a plan prepared showing the land required to be taken for the said work, together with the names of the owner and occupier of such lands as far as they can be ascertained, and a copy of such plan is deposited at the shop of Messrs. J. H. Hopkins and Company, Regent Street, Woolston, and is open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours—namely, on each week-day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Thursday, when the hours are from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said work or the taking of the said land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Woolston Borough Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at the office of the said Council, situate in Regent Street, Woolston.
