OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
IT is hereby notified that the above Council proposes to take for a public road, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1905," the lands described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby given that the plan of the road and of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the County Office, Maungaturoto, and is there open for inspection. And notice is also given that any person affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said lands, shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and lodge such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, with the Clerk of the above County Council.

PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly existing between HOWARD BUTTERS, FREDERICK ARTHUR LAKIN, and GEORGE RICHARD HALE, carrying on business as Engineers, &c., at Napier, under the style of "Butters, Lakin, and Co.," was dissolved on the 6th day of November, 1906, by the retirement of the said Frederick Arthur Lakin; and that the business will be hereafter carried on by the undersigned, Howard Butters and George Richard Hale, under the style of "Butters, Hale, and Co."

THE land is taken for the purpose of widening, deepening, straightening, and diverting a watercourse known as the "Kawau Stream" through Section No. 280 on the plan of Palmerston North.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land having any grounded objections to the execution of the said works or the taking of the said land as aforesaid are required to set forth in writing such objections, and to send such writing, within forty days from the 7th day of February, 1907, to the Town Clerk of the said Borough of Palmerston North at the said Council Chambers of the said borough.
