Land temporarily reserved in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the said Schedule specified at the end of the description of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block VI, Tarawera Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the Totara-o-kina Block, 300 links; towards the east by the Waipunga River; towards the south partly by Section No. 2, Block VI aforesaid, and partly by the abutment of a public road, 2250·3 links; and towards the west by Pastoral Run No. 16, 1952·5 links, to the starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57986/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For thermal-springs purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seven.
