SCHEDULE.
THAT portion of the road in the Wellington Land District
known as Rauma Road, commencing from the north-eastern
corner of Section 93, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey Dis-
trict, and proceeding thence across the North Island Main
Trunk Railway line along the frontages of Sections Nos. 92,
91, and 90, Block XIV as aforesaid, for a distance of 46·75
chains, more or less, to the River-bank Road, Hautapu
River; as the said road is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked R. 8586, deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District, thereon shown in blue colour, and lettered B.C.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
first day of January, 1907.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-
ninth day of December, one thousand nine hun-
dred and five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of
the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred
and six, certain regulations were made under “The Labour
Department Act, 1903”: And whereas it is desirable to
amend the said regulations:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon
him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authori-
ties enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Go-
vernor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby revoke paragraphs four and five of
clause four of the said regulations, and in lieu thereof doth
hereby substitute the paragraphs set forth in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

(4.) THE notice may be served on the addressee either
personally or by leaving it at the nearest last known office
or place of business or residence of the addressee, or by
posting it addressed to the addressee at such office, place, or
residence. -
The notice, if served by post, shall be deemed to have
been served on the day when the letter would have been
delivered in the ordinary course of post, and in proving
such service it shall be sufficient to prove that the letter
containing it was duly posted.

Prohibiting the Exportation of Firearms, &c., from New
Zealand to the New Hebrides.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
first day of January, 1907.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act,
1882,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that any
goods whatever may, by Proclamation or Order in Council,
revocable from time to time, be prohibited to be exported;
and if any goods shall be exported from the colony contrary
to any such prohibition, or be water-borne to be so exported
or carried, they shall be forfeited; and any person offending
against the provisions of such Proclamation or Order shall
for every such offence forfeit and pay the sum of five
hundred pounds:
And whereas it is advisable to prohibit the exportation of
arms, explosives, military and naval stores to the New
Hebrides, except as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers
enabling him in that behalf, and by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth by
this present Order absolutely prohibit the exportation from
New Zealand to the New Hebrides of arms, explosives,
military and naval stores: Provided that this prohibition
shall not extend or apply to any arms, explosives, military
and naval stores exported under permit obtained from the
Minister of Customs.

Regulations for Trout-fishing, Rotorua Acclimatisation
District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
first day of January, 1907.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” and its
amendments, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby
make the following regulations for the Rotorua Acclimatisa-
tion District and the waters thereof; and doth hereby
declare that these regulations shall, as from the first day
of February, one thousand nine hundred and seven, super-
sede all regulations at variance therewith, and such regula-
tions are hereby revoked.
REGULATIONS.

Licenses to fish for trout in all waters within that
district or part of the North Island known as the Rotorua
Acclimatisation District, described in the First Schedule
hereto, and comprising the Counties of Rotorua and East
Taupo, and parts of the Counties of West Taupo and Piako,
may be issued under the hand of the General Manager
of the Tourist and Health Resorts Department, or any
one authorised in writing by the said General Manager in
that behalf: Provided that the General Manager, or his
appointee, may refuse to issue a license to any person
who within the previous two years has been convicted of
any breach of the provisions of any Act relating to fishing
for trout, or of any regulation made thereunder. -
The fee to be charged for a license as aforesaid to each
male person over the age of sixteen years shall be twenty
shillings: Provided that for the remainder of the present
trout-fishing season a license may be issued to any such
person for the sum of twelve shillings and sixpence.
Licenses may also be issued to boys attending school or
under the age of sixteen, or to women, at a reduced fee
of five shillings for each license so issued: Provided that
it shall be lawful for the said General Manager, or his
appointee, in any case where application is made for a license
on or after the twentieth day of December in any year, to
issue a license to any man for the sum of twelve shillings
and sixpence, but so that such license shall extend only
from the time of granting the same until the termination of
the then trout-fishing season. No license shall confer any
right of entry upon the land of any person without his con-
sent. The General Manager, or his appointee, may issue
a day license to any one applying for the same on payment
of a fee of two shillings and sixpence for each day’s fishing.
The several forms of license shall be those set forth in the
Second Schedule hereto. -
Any holder of a license may fish for trout in the above-
named waters from the first day of November in any year to
the thirtieth day of April in the following year, both inclu-
sive; but every such license shall be for one season only,
and shall expire on the thirtieth day of April following the
date on which it was issued, subject, however, to the special
limitations and restrictions hereinafter mentioned. -
Trout shall not be fished for, taken, or killed otherwise
than with one rod and line; but a landing-net or gaff may
be used to secure any trout caught with such rod and
line. No lures or baits other than natural or artificial
flies, insects, or fish shall be used with such rod and
line, nor shall any of the said lures or baits be used except
