County lying south of the Cap Burn, the Waipori Riding of Tuapeka County, and the Clarendon and Waihola Ridings of Bruce County.

BRUCE.

Bruce District includes the whole of the Bruce County less Clarendon and Waihola Ridings, together with the Waita-huna, Clark’s, and Brown’s Ridings of Tuapeka County, and that part of Gabriel’s Riding not included in Mount Ida District, and also the Boroughs of Milton, Lawrence, and Kai-tangata.

CLUTHA.

Clutha District comprises the existing Clutha Electoral District with the addition of the Toetoes Riding of the Southland County, excepting the north-western portion of the said riding lying to the westward of the road running south-westerly from the Minihau Stream at Section No. 89, Block VII, Tuturau Survey District, to the Oware Stream, thence along the Oware Stream and Mokoreta River to the Mataura River; excluding the northern portion of the Mataura Riding, which is included in the existing Clutha Electoral District; excluding also the northern portion of the Glenkenich Riding of Clutha County lying north of Blocks I and II, Glenkenich Survey District, and a line along the road running north-easterly from the north-eastern corner of Block II to the Poma-haka River, about a mile north of the Township of Kelso; also excluding the northern portion of Tapanui Riding of Tuapeka County lying north of the road running south-easterly from the southern boundary of the Township of Kelso, and thence easterly to the boundary of the said Tapanui Riding. The Township of Kelso is excluded from this district.

WAKATIPU.

Wakatipu District comprises the existing Wakatipu Electoral District, including the whole of the Hawera and Lindis Ridings of Vincent County, together with the north-eastern portion of the Mataura Riding of Southland County lying

north of the Knapdale–Kelso Road, and that portion of the Orete Riding of Southland County lying west of the Township of Balfour, between the Waimea Plains Railway and the road running south-easterly from the Josephville Railway-station to the junction of Balfour–Caroline Road.

MATAURA.

Mataura District comprises the existing Mataura Electoral District, excluding that part of the Toetoes Riding of the Southland County which is included in the Clutha District hereinbefore described, and including the whole of the Waihopai Riding and the eastern portion of the Awarua Riding lying north of the Waihopai Riding as far as the Mabel Bush Road.

AWARUA.

Awarua District comprises the existing Awarua Electoral District less that portion lying to the eastward of the Invercargill Road District, and the eastern boundary of that road district produced northwards to the Mabel Bush Road, and thence in a north-easterly direction to the boundary of the Awarua Riding, and including those portions of the Invercargill Road District adjoining the Boroughs of Invercargill, Gladstone, North Invercargill, East Invercargill, and South Invercargill, which were excluded from the existing Awarua Electoral District.

INVERCARGILL.

Invercargill District comprises the Boroughs of Invercargill, Avenal, Gladstone, North Invercargill, East Invercargill, and South Invercargill.

WALLACE.

Wallace District comprises the existing Wallace Electoral District, less that portion of Orete Riding of Southland County included in the Wakatipu District. This district also includes Centre Island.
