HURUNUI.

Hurunui District comprises the Counties of Amuri, Kai-koura, Cheviot, and Ashley, less the Mandeville, Eyréton, and West Eyreton Ridings, and less that portion of the Oxford Riding lying south of the Rangiora-Oxford Railway line to the Old Mill Road; thence by that road to its junction with the Main Bush Road; by the said Main Bush Road to Cooper's Road; thence by Cooper's Road to Perhams Road; thence by Perhams Road to Washpen Road, by the said Washpen Road to Gorge Road; thence by Gorge Road to Woodstock Road, and by Woodstock Road to the Ashley County boundary: excluding the Townships of East Oxford and West Oxford.

KAIPOI.

Kaiapoi District is bounded towards the north by the Ashley River; towards the east by the sea; towards the south by the road from the sea to the Styx River, forming the northern boundaries of Reserves 2638 and 2637, and Rural Sections Nos. 2340, 31648, and 20428; thence by the Styx River to Rural Section No. 294, by that section to Hawkins Road; thence by Hawkins Road to Hill's Road, by Hill's Road to Kelly's Road; thence by Kelly's Road to Shirley's Road and by Shirley's Road to the City of Christchurch; thence by the City of Christchurch to Wairarapa Road, by Wairarapa Road to Fendalton and Sawyer's Arms Junction Road; thence by that road to Fendalton Road, by Fendalton Road to Kaiapoi Junction Road; thence by Kaiapoi Junction Road to Coringa Road; thence by Coringa Road and the road intersecting Section No. 6113 and its continuation north-easterly to Fleshborn Road; thence by that road to the Waimakariri River, across to Baile's Island, around the west end of that island to a point in line with Harr's Road; thence by a line to and by Harr's Road and along Waimakariri Road to the Rangiora and Waimakariri Road, and by the continuation of that road to the Oxford and Kaiapoi Road; thence north-westerly by the last-mentioned road to a point in line with the road forming the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 11210 and 11446; thence to and by that road to the Oxford-Rangiora Railway, by that railway to the western boundary of the Mandeville Riding of the Ashley County; and thence northward by the said western boundary to the Ashley River. This district includes the Boroughs of Kaiapoi and Rangiora.

CHRISTCHURCH NORTH.

Christchurch North District comprises that portion of the City of Christchurch lying north-west of a line along Fowke Street from its junction with Hills Road to a street in continuation of Fitzgerald Avenue; thence to Bealey Avenue; thence along the said Bealey Avenue to Churchill Street, and thence southerly along the said street to the Avon River; thence along the Avon River to Salisbury Street, along Salisbury Street to Colombo Street; thence southerly along Colombo Street to Cathedral Square; thence westerly along Worcester Street to Antigua Street: together with that portion of Hagley Park lying north of a line in continuation of the north side of Worcester Street to the western boundary of Hagley Park.

CHRISTCHURCH EAST.

Christchurch East District comprises that portion of the City of Christchurch bounded towards the north by the Christchurch North District hereinbefore described from Colombo Street to Fitzgerald Avenue; thence by a line along London Street to Perth Street; thence towards the east generally by a line along Perth Street to Victoria Street; thence easterly along Victoria Street and southerly along the western boundaries of Allotments 11 and 10 to Heywood Terrace; thence along the street which runs from Heywood Terrace to Windsor Terrace; thence westerly along the latter terrace about 5 chains to a street which runs southerly to the Avon River, along that street to the Avon River; and thence by the Linwood Ward of the City of Christchurch and Wilson's Road to Shakespeare Road; thence towards the south along Shakespeare Road to Thackeray Street, by Thackeray Street to Darwin Street; thence westerly along Darwin Street to Waltham Road; thence along Waltham Road to Brougham Street, and westerly along Brougham Street to Colombo Street; thence towards the west by a line along Colombo Street to the Christchurch North District, the place of commencement.

CHRISTCHURCH SOUTH.

Christchurch South District is bounded towards the north by the Christchurch North District hereinbefore described from the western boundary of Hagley Park to Cathedral Square; thence towards the east by a line along Colombo Street to Brougham Street; thence again towards the north by a line along Brougham Street to Waltham Road; thence along Waltham Road to Darwin Street; thence along Darwin Street and Thackeray Street to Shakespeare Road; thence along Shakespeare Road to Wilson's Road; thence towards the east by Wilson's Road to the Heathcote River, and along the Heathcote River to Tennyson Street; thence towards the south by Tennyson Street to Colombo Road, along Colombo Road to Strickland Street; thence by Strickland Street to Jackson's Creek, along Jackson's Creek to Jerrold Street, and along Jerrold Street to Lincoln Road; thence towards the west generally by Lincoln Road to Moorhouse Avenue, along Moorhouse Avenue to the western boundary of Hagley Park; and thence by the western boundary of Hagley Park to the place of commencement.

AVON.

Avon District is bounded towards the east by the sea; towards the south by the estuary of the Heathcote and Avon Rivers, and by the Borough of Woolston to Ferry Road, by Ferry Road to Grafton Road, by Grafton Road to Charles Street, thence by Charles Street to the eastern boundary of Christchurch East District; thence towards the east by Christchurch East and Christchurch North Districts to the north-eastern corner of the City of Christchurch; and thence towards the north-west by the Kaiapoi District to the sea.

RICCARTON.

Riccarton District comprises West Eyreton Riding of Ashley County, together with the south-eastern portion of Oxford Riding bounded on the west by the western boundary of Rural Section No. 27754 and the road west of Burnt Hill from the northern corner of the said section to the Main Race Road; thence by Main Race Road to Burnt Hill Road, by Burnt Hill Road to South Eyre Road, by South Eyre Road to its junction with Domain Road; thence by the road running north to the Town of Oxford, by the eastern boundary of the said Town of Oxford to the Oxford-Rangiora Railway, and by the said railway to the boundary of the Oxford Riding; and also the western portion of Eyreton Riding not included in the Kaiapoi District, also that portion of Courtenay Riding of Selwyn County lying to the west of the Selwyn-Waimakariri Road to Bealey's Road, by Bealey's Road to Strange's Road, by Strange's Road to Hawkins and Burnham Road, by Hawkins and Burnham Road to the road forming the western boundaries of Sections 27988 and 30432, and by that road to the Wakaepa River, the western portion of Riccarton Riding bounded towards the east by Hagley Park and the City of Christchurch to Wairarapa Road, by Wairarapa Road to Fendalton and Sawyer's Arms Junction Road; thence by that road to Fendalton Road, by the said Fendalton Road to Kaiapoi Junction Road, by the said Kaiapoi Junction Road to Coringa Road; thence by the said Coringa Road and the road intersecting Section No. 6113 and its continuation north-easterly to Fleshborn Road, and thence by that road to the Waimakariri River, less that portion lying south-west of the Harewood-Hampton Road and the railway-line, together with that portion of Halswell Riding bounded towards the north by Burke's Bush North Road from the western boundary of the said riding to the Mount Herbert County; thence by the said county boundary to the southern corner of Rural Section No. 452; thence by the road running north to Cashmere; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Spreydon Road District to Barrington Road; thence by the said Barrington Road to Stark's Road; thence by Stark's Road to the City of Christchurch; thence by that city and the northern and western boundaries of the Halswell Riding, and also the northern portion of the Lincoln Road District of Selwyn County bounded on the south by Leadley's Road from the Halswell Road to the railway-line; thence northward by the railway-line to Hampton's Road, by Hampton's Road to the boundary of the said Lincoln Road District.

LYTTELTON.

Lyttelton District comprises the existing Lyttelton Electorate, less that portion of the Spreydon Road District lying north-west of Stark's Road; also the southern portion of the Linwood Ward of the City of Christchurch, bounded by Wilson's Road from the railway-line to Charles Street, thence by Charles Street to Grafton Street, thence by Grafton Street to Ferry Road, and thence by Ferry Road to Ensor's Road, and also the whole of Mount Herbert County.

ELLESMERE.

Ellesmere District comprises the Akaroa County, together with the southern portions of the Lincoln and Halswell Ridings not included in Riccarton District, together with the whole of Ellesmere Riding of Selwyn County, and also the Borough of Akaroa.

SELWYN.

Selwyn District comprises the Coleridge and Malvern Ridings of Selwyn County, and that portion of Courtenay
